Lucky Break est un succès fulgurant qui se prépare depuis des années. Citra, Mosaic et Talus partagent la vedette dans une composition aux notes tropicales prononcées, à l'herbe fraîche et à un caméo d'agrumes qui vole la scène. Houblonnée, douce et florale, cette bière est un tube en devenir, promis à un avenir de superstar.
The tropical notes hit first, all pineapple and mango, but that citrus finish is what sealed it for me. Smooth enough to drink without thinking, hoppy enough to remind you it's an IPA. Three cans in and I'm already grabbing another four-pack.
That grassy freshness right after the citrus bite is what sold me — it's got a smoothness that makes the hoppiness feel almost creamy. Cracked one open after mowing the lawn and it was exactly the reward I needed.
The grassiness balances the citrus so well—it's smooth enough to crush a few, but hoppy enough to feel like a real IPA. The Talus gives it a little something extra I can't quite name.
