The grapefruit and coconut from those hops actually come through on the finish, not just the nose. I cracked one after mowing the lawn and the juicy orange notes hit exactly right. This one's a keeper for anyone who likes their IPAs loud.
That first sip is pure chaos in the best way—grapefruit rushes in, then a creamy coconut wave that somehow works perfectly with the juicy orange. The double dry hopping makes it dangerously smooth for a DIPA, so I’d already finished half the can before I remembered to slow down.
The coconut note from the Talus really comes through on the finish, layered right over that juicy orange punch from the Citra. Grapefruit hits first, then it smooths out into something dangerously drinkable for a double IPA. I’ve already got another four-pack on the way.
