BrewDogの最も象徴的なビールの一つが、ひねりを加えて帰ってきた。このダブルホップのレッドエールは、昔ながらの親しみのある味わいとフルーティーさをそのままに、大胆な10% ABVを実現。モルティで噛みごたえがあり、樹脂のようなホップの香りが前面に押し出された、一切の手加減なしのビールだ。

The malty chewiness is exactly what I wanted out of a red ale, and the 10% ABV hides itself dangerously well in the fruitiness. Sipped it slow over an hour and it only got better as it warmed up.
That first sip hits with the full 10% ABV warmth but the double hopping keeps it from feeling heavy — the fruitiness really comes through behind all that malt. It's dangerously smooth for a red ale this strong, so I'll be pacing myself with this one.
That deep red pour and the chewy malt body make this taste way bigger than your average red ale. The double hopping gives it a nice fruity kick that balances the 10% without feeling hot. A solid sipper for a cold night.
