ダークナイトは、小麦麦芽とスペシャルモルトをブレンドし、チヌークホップとローラルホップで仕上げた、複雑でありながら滑らかな口当たりのウィートビールです。飲みやすさと深み、バランスを兼ね備え、優しいテクスチャーながら、静かな力強さに満ちています。香りはバナナとクローブがリードし、ほのかなチョコレートのノートが温かみと調和をもたらします。ボディは柔らかくクリーミーで、滑らかなフィニッシュにはスパイスとココアのヒントが残ります。
The velvety mouthfeel from those specialty malts is exactly what I wanted on a chilly evening, and the Chinook hops give it a nice subtle bite without overpowering the wheat. Poured a gorgeous cloudy glass and finished the whole bomber way too fast.
The Chinook and Loral hops give it just enough bitterness to keep that smooth wheat body from feeling flat. I cracked one after a long week and the balance between the malt and hops was spot on.
That velvety texture from the wheat malt is exactly what I was hoping for, and the Chinook hops give it just enough bite to keep things interesting. Poured a beautiful cloudy glass and it went down almost too smooth for a 5-star pint.
