The dry hopping on this one is ridiculous in the best way—I could smell the Cascade and Simcoe the second I cracked the can, and that five-malt backbone keeps the bitterness from getting too sharp. It's the kind of beer I'd grab again after a long shift, no second thoughts.
The 50 IBUs hit exactly where they should—bitter upfront but balanced by that five-malt backbone so it doesn't overwhelm. I cracked one after mowing the lawn and the Centennial and Cascade combo kept me coming back for another sip.
The dry hop is so aggressive that the bitterness actually lingers in a pleasant, almost piney way rather than fading flat. That backbone from five different malts keeps it balanced enough that I could genuinely sip another one without my palate giving up.
