The year in oak really rounds out the tartness of those blueberries, leaving a smooth, earthy finish that’s unlike anything I’ve had from a bottle. Damn, that wild yeast brings a whole different character you just can’t fake.
The wild yeast and blueberries make for a genuinely unique sip—I've never tasted anything quite like it, and the oak aging balances everything out beautifully. Watching the bottle referment on the fruit added a fun little science experiment element to pouring a beer.
The year in oak really shows—there’s a soft, woody depth under the blueberry tartness that keeps me coming back for another sip. It’s wild and slightly funky, but not in a harsh way. Perfect for a slow evening.
