ATTENTION HOP HEADS: we made this one for you. Hop Frenzy is a 5.8% Hazy IPA that’s dry hopped at 1.5 times the usual rate and featuring two experimental hops, Talus and HBC 586. Upfront orange meets coconut and top notes of passionfruit for a hazy tropical fruit salad hop bomb of a beer. Try it. Try to resist the urge to say “hoppy, that” after every sip. Try it again and again and again.
I wasn’t sure what Talus and HBC 586 would do together, but that upfront orange pops so clean against the hazy body—the 1.5x dry hop rate is no joke, it’s juicy without being sticky.
The extra dry hopping really comes through—this one's got that thick, pillowy mouthfeel without being heavy. Orange pops right up front and then the Talus adds a nice herbal twist that keeps it interesting. My fridge is never without a couple cans now.
Talus and HBC 586 give this hazy a funky orange-forward pop that’s juicier than most IPAs I’ve cracked open lately, and the 1.5x dry hop makes every sip feel dense without being heavy. At 5.8% it’s dangerously easy to finish a can before dinner’s ready.
