The biscuit malt really rounds out the fruitiness from the hops, so it drinks smooth instead of sharp. I could easily put back a few of these on a porch evening without feeling weighed down, and the bitter finish keeps each sip interesting.
That combo of Columbus, Mosaic, and Citra gives it a light fruitiness that actually comes through without being sweet, and the toasted biscuit note balances everything out. Picked up a six-pack for a backyard hang and it went down almost too easy for 5%.
Opened one after mowing the lawn and the balance is spot on—the Citra and Mosaic give it that light fruitiness without being sweet, and the biscuit note in the finish keeps it grounded. It’s dangerously easy to drink, gone before I knew it.
