Wir haben ein traditionelles bayerisches Hopfenweizen genommen und einige sehr untraditionelle Hopfensorten hinzugefügt. Vollgepackt mit Neuseelands Nectaron und Superdelic sowie Yakimas HBC1019 und Citra Cyro, ist dies eine Obstschale eines hopfigen Weizenbiers mit einer Bananenbasis das dein Oktoberfest stilvoll eröffnet.
Opened one of these after a long week and the aroma alone was worth it—that Nectaron really comes through. The Superdelic and Citra Cyro keep it interesting from first sip to last, and it's dangerously easy to finish the whole bottle before dinner's ready.
The hop blend is wild—that Nectaron punch hits first and the Citra Cryo lingers way longer than I expected from a wheat beer. Poured hazy with a thick head that stuck around through the whole glass. Probably the most interesting six-pack I've grabbed this month.
That slightly funky Bavarian yeast base really lets the fruitier hops sing — the Superdelic gives it this juicy, almost tropical edge while the Citra Cryo keeps the finish dry and crisp. I grabbed a six-pack out of curiosity and it was gone in two nights.
