I poured a glass expecting a standard red ale, but the pineapple and peach notes hit my nose before I even took a sip. That new hop variety is the real deal—it tastes like a tropical smoothie with a solid malty backbone.
That pineapple and coconut thing isn't a gimmick—it comes through clean on the first sip, and the peach lingers just enough on the finish. The red ale body holds it all together without getting too sweet. I've already gone back for a second can.
Peach comes through more than pineapple on the nose, but that coconut note lingers nicely on the finish. Solid red ale for the price, though I wish the carbonation were a touch softer.
